This UK-based company has sister tile operators in Greece, South Africa, Australia and India and therefore access to a wide range of product and design from across the world.

The products and services

The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of leading edge products that suit a wide range of consumer tastes and requirements: Wall tiles, Porcelain and cladding tiles for indoors and outdoors floors, Glazed pools and cladding tiles.

The objectives

The objective in France is to increase sales within the contract market for ceramic tiles. IBT Partners would therefore be looking to:

• Evaluate the current contract and DIY retail market for ceramic tiles in France, including competitor activity and market prices
• Identify key architects, specifiers and interior designers
• Communicate the product offer in France
• Evaluate the supply chain for these products and possible distribution options

IBT services

IBT Partners Client Managers, closely briefed by the client, conducted an in-depth market study over a period of three months. Armed with the knowledge and subsequent to a series of meetings and presentations a strategic business plan was concluded.

The contract sector was chosen, the necessary tools were created, the top 60 French specifiers were identified, selected and the IBT Partners in-market sales support continues.

The specifiers were then supplied with brochures on French, technical documentation and received monthly phone calls and newsletters.

Our client is now receiving demand for quotes related to long term national and international projects.
